Libby the Hilarious

Thursday and Friday Libby had me cracking up all day! It is just the little things that make her so adorable.

Thursday afternoon we went to Gymboree for open gym time. There were a couple of new kids there and a couple that are there all the time. She walked up to every kid there and said "Hi, I'm Libby" while she points to herself. She even walked up to Miss Mallory, one of the teachers that she has had about five times, and introduced herself. Miss Mallory played along and thought she was super cute as well.

Thursday night before we went to the softball fields to watch Mike's game, we were watching So You Think You Can Dance? Libby caught about 10 minutes of it and then started doing the moves! It was hilarious! Then at the softball fields there were a couple of groups of older kids, like 6-10 years old, chasing each other around. Libby decides to join in the fun. When a group of about three boys stopped she walked up to them and said "Hi, I'm Libby. Do you want to play a game?" and then started doing her new dance moves! Of course they didn't pay attention to her but that didn't stop her. Libby kept following them around. Finally one boy, who was about 7, started chasing her a little bit. After it started to get dark she told me she needed to go home to take a rest.

Friday morning we went to Gymboree class- which we call "school". Again, she walked around to all the kids, even the ones she had seen the day before and says "Hi, I'm Libby". She was running around pretending to be Diego and saying "to the rescue!" I was also proud of her because she was the only one that paid attention during class. She is old enough to move to the level 6 now and is obviously ready to be around some older kids.

Friday night we didn't do much. The three of us went shopping for a little bit and played outside. Jacque and Austin came over after baseball practice and played Wii. Mike downloaded a game from the 80's that they used to play when they were kids.

More about our fabulous Memorial Day weekend on another post-with pictures!
