Officially bottle free!!

Libby had her last bottle on February 14th. So to celebrate on the 21st-I gave Libby her first sucker. She was interested for a while but then it became more fun for her to hold it while I ate it. What can I say-the girl doesn't really care for sweet foods. She prefers salty foods (fries, hotdogs, bologna, etc.) any day.

Libby is getting another tooth! The two bottom ones are starting to poke through. She is a little drooly and poopy but isn't too fussy-yet. She woke up screaming a couple of times last week but I think she was just gassy. I have cut down on her milk and that seems to help.

I think our girl will be walking soon! Libby has started to walk with her "lion" that Aunt Jacque and Austin gave her for Christmas. She is a pro at strolling around the living room-until she runs into something. She hasn't gotten the steering part down yet. Libby continues to talk and "sing" a bunch and she LOVES to dance and clap!! It is SO cute to watch her. When she is standing she will bend her legs and shake her butt a little. When she is sitting she will "do the twist" and clap her hands.

I am trying to upload a short video of Libby talking on the phone. I hope you can all open it without any problems.

Libby's First Tooth!!

At 13 months and 4 days old-Liberty is FINALLY getting a tooth!! I can see the little white tips poking up the bottom. It isn't in all the way yet but at least I know she isn't going to be a "gummy bear" for the rest of her life!! I will be sure to post a picture once it is finally in all the way. She hasn't been too crabby about it YET. However-she did have her first temper tantrum tonight when I wouldn't give her a bottle. I gave in even though I am trying to take away her bottle. Maybe over the weekend I can cut out the bottle.

Here are some pictures of Libby in her new favorite spot. She LOVES Daddy's "PlayStation Chair". She climbs on it all the time-even if it is folded up in corner.

Nothing new

For those of you very few faithful readers of my blog I just wanted to report that nothing new is going on at the Marlow residence. I took Libby to the doctor on the 28th. What a joyful treat for my birthday to take a one year old in for her shots. It took forever! Libby weighs 20lbs 13oz. and is 29.5 inches tall-which I am told it a little on the small side for her age. Oh well, I don't expect her to be the biggest kid in the class!
