Did the Easter Bunny come?

Here are a couple of cute pictures of Libby at Easter. She got two new books, some barrettes, some apple puffs and this really cute headband. Papa Ben and Grammy CeCe were here for Easter and bought Libby this cute purple dress and a new swimsuit. We tried to go swimming at the hotel but there were too many kids and Libby was too scared to get in the water. We all celebrated Easter at my house-probably my last holiday at this house-My Dad, Cande, My Aunt Rachael, Uncle Mike, my cousin Jaelyn, Kim, Matt, Taylor and Caleb and the Niemeier family influenza B were all here. My dad and Cande left Tuesday morning and took the influenza B with them. Hopefully there are no remnants left at the Marlow household. We feel pretty good....so far.

Goodbye Dottey, I miss you

After much consideration-we decided it was time to put Dottey down. She had a good life and lived about 5 years longer than I expected. She was showing signs of an old dog (sight, bladder control problems, etc) plus she would have back problems every fall when the weather would start to get cold. I am not sure Libby even notices that Dottey is gone. I think losing Dottey has been harder on me than it was when I had to put Dailey down. Mostly because now I don't have another dog to cuddle with and I sleep alone 4 nights a week this time. My friend Jeni gave Libby a stuffed wiener dog for Valentine's Day that I have been sleeping with every night because I miss my doggy.

Here is a VERY cute video of Libby with her purse. She is super close to walking. Today she tried to take a step on her own two separate times but got scared and dropped to her butt. She still cruises around the house with her lion like a pro. Mike put on an indoor softball tournament this weekend in South Sioux. Libby was quite the fan (the short periods of time we were there). She would clap when a bunch of people of were clapping and she started staying "go" because I would tell her to say "go daddy". Libby is quite fluent in baby language. She jabbers all the time-I think most of it could pass for Chinese...ha ha...Most recently I can understand "ah choo" when someone sneezes, "peek a boo", and I am starting to hear "no"-sometimes in the correct context.
